The marketing agency for builders that showed up most often on 24 September 2026 was Sea Salt Marketing, which appeared in 12 of our 16 search and AI checks. Constructiv Digital, The Marketing Co, PWD and Building Boom came next. We built this list by running the searches Australian builders actually use through Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode, then reading each agency’s own website for facts you can check.

Our top pick is Uprise Digital, our own agency, for builders who want signed contracts rather than just leads: our KGN Homes campaign turned $40,000 of ad spend into 3 contracts worth $5M+. The rest of the list is ranked by how visible each agency was across Google, the map pack, Bing and AI assistants on 24 September 2026. That measures how easy each agency is to find when a builder goes looking, not how good it is at getting you contracts.

**Key findings**

- Sea Salt Marketing led with 12 of 16 checks: 3 of 5 Google top 20 lists, all 3 Google map packs, the Bing top 20 and 5 of 7 AI answers. Constructiv Digital was the only other agency strong on both Google and AI.
- The Marketing Co ranked first or second on all 5 Google searches we ran, but only 2 of the 7 AI answers named it.
- The 7 AI answers named 22 different agencies, and 12 of them were named by only one answer.
- A ranking page published by a New Zealand agency was cited in 4 of the 7 AI answers, and that agency was named in 4 answers, as often as any Australian agency except Sea Salt.
- Every agency on our list whose site we could load had a Meta Pixel on its own homepage. Only 48% of the non-volume builders we checked for our [Facebook ads for builders research](/blog/facebook-ads-for-builders/) did.

## How we built this list of builder marketing agencies

We ran 16 checks on 24 September 2026, all from Australia:

- **5 Google searches**, top 20 organic results on desktop: “marketing agency for builders australia”, “marketing agency for builders”, “construction marketing agency”, “builder marketing agency” and “marketing for builders”.
- **3 Google map packs**, the local three-business box that appeared on three of those searches.
- **1 Bing top 20** for the first search.
- **7 AI answers**: “Which marketing agencies in Australia are best for home builders and construction companies?” through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode, plus “Which digital marketing agency should a home builder in Australia use to get more leads?” through ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Each time an agency appeared in one of those 16 places it scored a point. We then kept only agencies that are Australian and genuinely serve builders, meaning a builder or construction page and builder or trade clients on their own site. Ties were broken by the number of AI answers, then by best Google position. Uprise Digital sits at number 1 as our own pick, and the other eleven follow in score order. For every agency we read the homepage and builder page and noted only what the agency publishes about itself. We have not taken payment from anyone on this page. The detail is in the methodology section, and if you want to know what we do, our [builder marketing services](/builders/)
 page explains it.

## The 12 builder marketing agencies, one by one

Our own agency comes first. For the other eleven, everything below comes from the agency’s own website or Google Business Profile, read on 24 September 2026. Results are the agency’s own published claims, not figures we have audited.

### 1. Uprise Digital (our top pick)

This is our own agency, and we put it first because we judge builder marketing the way builders do: on signed contracts. Our published builder case study, [KGN Homes](/case-studies/kgn-homes/)
, reports $40,000 in ad spend, 3 contracts worth $5M+ and a 120x return on ad spend, with Meta carrying about 80% of performance.

Uprise Digital is a boutique agency in Cremorne, Melbourne, working with builders Australia wide. Construction and home improvement sit alongside solar, energy and legal as our core sectors, and other construction clients include Farache Group, with 1100% revenue growth in six months, and Better Life Patios in Brisbane, with a 247% increase in sales in six months. For builders we run Meta and Instagram ads, Google Ads, landing pages, SEO and AI search, so one team handles the whole path from first click to signed contract.

AI assistants already point builders our way: asked which marketing agencies in Australia are best for home builders and construction companies, Claude named Uprise Digital, citing our [builders page](/builders/)
. We work month to month with no lock-in contracts, you own your ad accounts and data, and we report on leads, cost per lead and revenue. Google profile: 4.8 from 48 reviews.

### 2. Sea Salt Marketing

[Sea Salt Marketing](https://seasaltmarketing.com.au/)
says it works only with residential builders across Australia and New Zealand, with an office in Crows Nest and “10 years working with builders”. Services listed are brand, Meta lead generation, email marketing, SEO and Google Ads. It publishes case studies with numbers: Roda Developments, a client since 2016, averaging 47 qualified leads a month at $6.69 each, and Christou Homes, a Sydney custom builder, with 235 Meta leads since 2023 at a lifetime average of $159.92 per lead. Its Google profile showed 5.0 from 16 reviews. No pricing is published.

### 3. Constructiv Digital

[Constructiv Digital](https://www.constructivdigital.com.au/)
is headquartered in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, and says it was founded in 2015 to share the growth playbook behind iseekplant, the plant hire marketplace. It was in 4 of the 5 Google lists and named by Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode. Its site sells web design, SEO, Google Ads and content to construction businesses, though its pricing and FAQs are written for civil and plant hire clients rather than home builders. It is the only agency here that publishes a price range: “$1,500 to $10,000+ per month for civil and plant hire clients”. Google profile: 4.8 from 6 reviews.

### 4. The Marketing Co

[The Marketing Co](https://themarketingco.com.au/)
ranked first or second on every Google search we ran, the strongest organic result in the category. It lists builders and tradies as one of seven industries it serves, alongside childcare, real estate and healthcare, and describes “over 25 years experience”. Services include websites, Facebook and Instagram ads, Google Ads, TikTok ads, SEO, phone tracking and video. The client stories on its builders page were other businesses such as air conditioning, plumbing and packaging, and we did not find a builder case study with numbers. Google profile: 4.8 from 26 reviews.

### 5. PWD

PWD was named by 4 of the 7 AI answers, one fewer than Sea Salt. Its website blocked our requests, so we could only read its Google listing, which describes a “marketing agency for custom, renovation and premium builders” offering websites, SEO and lead generation “from a Perth team since 2007”. The AI answers said it publishes builder case studies, but we could not confirm them ourselves, so treat that as unverified until you see them.

### 6. Building Boom

[Building Boom](https://buildingboom.com.au/)
calls itself a specialist home builder marketing agency. Its founder, Steve Fitz, has been in the new home building industry since 1991 and ran a building company as general manager, and the site says it has run Facebook ad campaigns for builders since 2010. Services cover Google Ads, Meta ads, SEO, YouTube ads, content, email and a hire-a-marketing-manager service, with packages pitched by builder turnover (under $20M, and $20M to $40M+). Its case study page did not show numbers in text form, and we did not find prices or an address on the pages we read.

### 7. The Arrow Agency

[The Arrow Agency](https://thearrowagency.com.au/)
says it specialises in premium custom home builders, high-end renovators and developers, though its case studies also include roofing, pools, patios and cabinetry. Published results include BelCo Constructions reaching a “$15m pipeline in 4 months”, IBG with “10x enquiry in 4 months” and Aura Homes WA with 18 new home enquiries in the first month. Services are strategy, CRM and sales systems, Google Ads, Meta ads and SEO. Its Google profile in Buddina on the Sunshine Coast showed 5.0 from 42 reviews.

### 8. Gordon Digital

[Gordon Digital](https://gordondigital.com.au/)
in Brisbane says it was started in 2015 and now takes only builders as clients, from custom homes and knockdown rebuilds to kitchens and decks, with a stated focus on builders turning over $2M+. Its Helios Design and Construct case study reports leads growing 186% year on year, from 7 to 20 a month, with cost per lead down from $319 to $117. Services are strategy, Meta ads, Google Ads, SEO and AI search visibility. Google profile: 4.8 from 78 reviews. Three AI answers named it.

### 9. Melotti Media

[Melotti Content Media](https://www.melottimedia.com.au/)
is a Sydney content and messaging agency with offices listed in Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra. It serves many industries, from lawyers and accountants to builders and developers, and its construction page focuses on brand messaging, website writing, capability statements and AI search optimisation rather than ad management. It claims 25 years of experience. Google profile: 4.9 from 155 reviews, the largest review count on this list. Claude named it; the other AI answers did not.

### 10. SEE Marketing Studio

[SEE Marketing Studio](https://seemarketingstudio.com.au/)
in Gateshead, near Newcastle, describes itself as a full-service marketing agency for builders and trades with “over a decade of experience” in the industry. It appeared in 2 of the 3 Google map packs and ranked third on two Google searches, but no AI answer named it. Its site gave us little else to check: no case study numbers or prices in the text we could read. Google profile: 5.0 from 4 reviews.

### 11. Elite Property Marketing

[Elite Property Marketing](https://www.elitepropertymarketing.com.au/)
appeared in all 5 Google top 20 lists, mostly through city-specific construction marketing pages. It describes itself as a specialist for property developers, construction companies and tradespeople, founded by senior marketer Phil Reece, and lists Google and Meta ads, SEO and lead generation. It publishes general market price ranges, not its own prices. Its Google profile, in the Mackay region of Queensland, showed 5.0 from 7 reviews.

### 12. The Creative Collective

[The Creative Collective](https://thecreativecollective.com.au/)
is a full-service agency “getting stuff done since 2007”, female-led and regionally based, with a construction marketing page among many industries. It offers branding, SEO, Google Ads, Meta ads, LinkedIn ads, PR and training. Its Google profiles showed 4.7 from 24 reviews in Newcastle and 4.5 from 60 in Mooloolaba.

The best agency is the one that understands how your buyers decide.

## Google and the AI assistants do not agree

The most useful thing in this data is how little the channels overlap. The Marketing Co owns Google for these searches, yet 5 of the 7 AI answers left it out. Hoome, an agency built only for home builders, was named by ChatGPT and Perplexity but did not appear in any Google top 20. SEE Marketing Studio and Elite Property Marketing were strong on Google and invisible to AI.

Across the 7 AI answers, 22 different agencies were named, and 12 were named only once. Only four appeared in more than half of them: Sea Salt Marketing (5), Constructiv Digital, PWD and Contractor Scale (4 each). That matches what we found in earlier work: AI answers change from run to run, as we measured in [why AI answers change every time](/blog/ai-answers-change-every-time/)
, and each assistant leans on different sources, which our [ChatGPT vs Gemini vs Perplexity comparison](/blog/chatgpt-vs-gemini-vs-perplexity/)
 breaks down.

Sources matter a lot. A ranking page on homebuildermarketing.com, published by Contractor Scale, was cited by Gemini, Perplexity (twice) and Claude, and puts Contractor Scale first. Contractor Scale was named in three of those four answers and by Google AI Mode, and Claude repeated that page’s description of Constructiv Digital almost word for word. Contractor Scale’s own site gives an address in Auckland, New Zealand, which is why it is not in our Australian twelve. The lesson for builders is the same one we cover in [how AI recommends builders](/blog/how-ai-recommends-builders/)
: assistants repeat the pages they can find, including pages written by the business being recommended.

Bing also tells its own story. Its top 20 for the main search included Acclaimed Results, Content Builders, Quinn Marketing and Legacy Media, none of which appeared in our Google top 20 lists. Bing powers Microsoft Copilot’s search, so it is worth checking where you stand, which we explain in our guide to [Bing Webmaster Tools](/blog/bing-webmaster-tools/)
.

## Other agencies that appeared in the data

| Agency | Checks (of 16) | Where it appeared | Why it is not in the twelve |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Contractor Scale | 8 | 4 AI answers, Bing, 3 Google lists (via its ranking site) | Based in Auckland, New Zealand |
| Reform Digital | 4 | 2 map packs, 2 Google lists | Tied on 4, lost the tie-break; multi-industry |
| Chilli Group | 4 | 4 Google lists | Tied on 4, lost the tie-break; multi-industry, est. 1993 |
| Helium Marketing | 4 | 4 Google lists | Tied on 4, lost the tie-break |
| Resurge Digital | 4 | 4 Google lists | Tied on 4, lost the tie-break |
| Hoome | 3 | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing | Score below the cut; builder-only and worth a look |
| The Garden | 2 | ChatGPT twice | Score below the cut |
| Legacy Media, Vex Management, Quinn Marketing | 2 each | Bing plus one other | Score below the cut |
| Acclaimed Results, Content Builders | 1 each | Bing only | Score below the cut |

## Builder-only or generalist: does it matter?

Seven of the twelve focus on building, construction, property or trades: Sea Salt, Constructiv Digital, Building Boom, The Arrow Agency, Gordon Digital, SEE Marketing Studio and Elite Property Marketing. The other five, including us, work across several industries with a dedicated builder or construction offer. Neither model is automatically better.

A builder-only agency knows your sales cycle, speaks your language and has seen what a cost per contract should look like. The trade-off is that it may already work for your nearest competitor, so ask about exclusivity. A multi-industry agency may bring ideas from other long-cycle sectors like solar or legal, but you need to see proof it has done the work for a builder, not just a builder page. Either way, the channel matters as much as the agency. If Meta is part of the plan, read how [Meta campaigns for building companies](/blog/facebook-ads-for-builders/)
should be set up, and for the bigger picture our [construction marketing guide](/blog/construction-marketing/)
 covers the channels in order.

## What to ask a marketing agency for builders before you sign

These questions sort the specialists from the salespeople. A good agency will answer every one without flinching.

1. **Show me a builder case study with cost per contract, not just cost per lead.** Leads are easy to buy. Signed building contracts are the number that matters.
2. **Who else do you work for in my area?** Ask whether they take competing builders in the same suburbs, and what happens if they do.
3. **Who will run my account day to day?** Get a name, and ask how many other accounts that person manages.
4. **What tracking will you install in the first month?** In our research, only 52% of 278 builder homepages had a Meta Pixel. An agency should fix your tracking before spending your ad budget.
5. **How do you qualify leads before they reach me?** Look for budget, land status and timeframe questions, and a plan for follow-up.
6. **What is the fee, what is ad spend, and what is the minimum term?** Get all three in writing. Only one agency on this list published a price.
7. **Will I own the ad accounts, website and data if we part ways?** The answer should be yes.
8. **How will you get us recommended by Google and AI assistants, not just ads?** Paid leads stop when the budget stops. Reviews and visibility keep working, as we cover in [builder reviews and reputation](/blog/builder-reviews-and-reputation/) .

Check that any results claimed are real and current. Agencies are bound by the Australian Consumer Law like any other business, and the ACCC’s guide to [false or misleading claims](https://www.accc.gov.au/business/advertising-and-promotions/false-or-misleading-claims)
applies to case studies as much as to ads. The [HIA’s article on digital marketing for builders](https://hia.com.au/our-industry/housing/business-and-digital/2024/03/digital-marketing-for-builders)
, which ranked first on Google for “marketing agency for builders”, is also a sensible primer. For a wider checklist, see [choosing a digital marketing agency without getting burned](/blog/how-to-choose-a-digital-marketing-agency-in-australia-without-getting-burned/)
.

## How we did this research

All searches ran on 24 September 2026 from Australia. Google results are the top 20 organic results on desktop for five searches, plus the map pack where one appeared (three searches). The Bing top 20 was read in a browser for “marketing agency for builders australia”. The first AI prompt was part of our shared 24-prompt study and ran once each through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode; the second ran once each through ChatGPT and Perplexity. We used the API versions of each assistant with web search switched on and an Australian location, not the consumer apps, and single runs, so another run could name different agencies.

We matched names across engines to one agency each (for example “Melotti Content Media” and “Melotti Media”). Agencies were counted in a Google or Bing list when their own domain appeared, and Contractor Scale was also credited for its ranking site. We read agency homepages and builder pages on 24 September 2026 and looked up Google Business Profiles by name; PWD’s website blocked us and we could not find profiles for PWD or Building Boom. We checked each homepage for a Meta Pixel with the same method as our builder tracking study. Limits: 16 checks is a small sample, visibility is not quality, and agencies change their sites often.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best marketing for a construction company?

For most residential builders, the mix that works is a portfolio-led website, a well-reviewed Google Business Profile, Google Ads for people searching now and Meta ads for people planning a build. Commercial construction relies more on tenders, relationships and LinkedIn. Measure everything on signed contracts rather than leads.

### Is it worth hiring a marketing agency as a builder?

It is worth it when the agency can show builder results in contracts, not just leads, and when nobody in your business has a few hours a week to run campaigns. It is not worth it if you are locked into a long contract before seeing any proof. Start with a clear 90-day plan and agreed numbers.

### How much does a construction marketing agency cost?

Very few agencies publish prices. On 24 September 2026 only Constructiv Digital did, at $1,500 to $10,000+ per month for civil and plant hire clients. Expect a management fee plus separate ad spend, and ask for both in writing along with any minimum term.

### How do builders get more clients?

Referrals from past clients and architects still matter most for many builders, but they are hard to scale. The builders who grow steadily add Google search, Meta ads with retargeting, and reviews, and they make sure their website shows finished projects, a clear process and indicative pricing.

### Should a builder choose a builder-only agency?

Not necessarily. A builder-only agency knows the sales cycle, but may already work for a competitor nearby. A multi-industry agency can be just as good if it shows real builder case studies. Judge them on proof, reporting and who runs your account.

### Why do ChatGPT and Google recommend different agencies?

They use different sources. Google ranks pages, while AI assistants read a handful of pages from their own search and summarise them. In our checks, only Sea Salt Marketing and Constructiv Digital were strong in both, and a single self-published ranking page was cited in 4 of 7 AI answers.

If you are comparing agencies and want a second opinion on what your building company needs first, see how we approach it on our [marketing for builders page](/builders/)
, or read the [KGN Homes case study](/case-studies/kgn-homes/)
for the numbers behind our own builder work.
